What People's Say About Place

Had a really good Calabash Style seafood dinner at the Mayflower and we were very happy with the food and the service

I enjoyed the food, but the popcorn shrimp was slightly saltier for my taste. We got seated at the back and it was a bit warm. Service was solid. Overall, we really enjoyed it!

I’ve been here/ ordered from here a few times from Grubhub, both times I’ve ordered Grubhub , Grubhub has made a mistake. The restaurant both times, went out of their way to fix it, the lady who was working in the phone last night, February 14th, sealed me as a customer for life for friendly service, as someone who works in the industry as a manager, she gets my 5 star approval, she’s the type of employee I’d like to hire, and the type of customer service that rarely comes along.

Had a great experience here. I also enjoyed a 20% discount for veterans. The waiter was on point and so was the food. Had a mixed platter of 3 types of fish and some sides. I will definitely be back.

Update 10/19/24 The waitress was amazing. I love her as much as I did roadrunner. She was very pleasant, and her accent made it all so much better as she picked with my husband about being full of sweat tea. Very good experience after my 1st visit in over a year! We will definitely be returning It has really gone down since I started eating there years ago. The service is great but the food is just not it anymore.

Went for lunch, the service was great, the was good, minus the crab cakes. I'm only taking one star because everything else was hot and fresh. Maryland crab cake lover here, a bad crab cake is a death toll. The waiter saved the day by being gracious and immediately exchanging my crab cakes for more delicious flaky white fish. The huss puppies looked like onion rings, but I promise you they were good, and no onion taste at all, thank goodness.

The food was delicious, especially the fried popcorn shrimp and flounder with potato wedges. My family really enjoyed everything from the friendly waiter to the pleasant atmosphere and good coming out fresh in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend.

The service was amazing and food was great. I also got the veterans discount which made lunch way more enjoyable
